Tree Squirrels of California
Privacy
Tree Squirrels of California is a personal natural-history project. The site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking.
The contact form
When you use the contact form, what you enter—your name, your message, your answers to the two squirrel questions, and your email address if you choose to give it—is sent to me through Formspree, a form-processing service. I use it only to read and reply to your message. I don’t sell or share it or add anyone to a mailing list.
Formspree handles submissions under its own privacy policy.
Other services
The range maps load map images from CARTO and mapping code from unpkg. As with any website, those services receive your browser’s IP address when they send those files.
This site is hosted by Hostinger, which may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages visited.
